Only behavioral timing signals — keystroke dynamics such as typing cadence, dwell time, and pauses. From these we compute aggregate features (for example, average dwell and flight time) and a derived stress score.

We never capture the content of what you type — no words, keystroke text, screenshots, clipboard, messages, camera, or microphone data. The signal is the rhythm of interaction, not its substance.

Managers and HR only ever see aggregated, anonymized team-level trends. Individual stress scores, habit tracking, and conversations with the Subl AI assistant stay private to the employee.

Data is encrypted in transit and stored under your organization's tenant with strict, role-based access controls. Access to sensitive fields is governed by explicit permissions and can be masked.

Collection only begins after you explicitly consent at sign-in. Because Subl is a workplace wellbeing tool, the monitoring data collected while you use it is owned by the organization you work for — it is identifiable to your employer (not anonymized from them) and is retained and managed under that organization's data policies. Subl does not own, sell, or share it; we only process it on your organization's behalf.

The desktop agent is fully opt-in and can be removed at any time, which stops all further collection. You can also export your data from your dashboard whenever you like. Erasure of already-collected organization-owned data is handled by your organization's administrator on request.
